How to Disable WGA(Windows Genuine Advantage) Validation Check

Is the Windows Genuine Advantage Validation Check bothering you from downloading critical updates for your Windows? Worry no more, because I found a website which offer you a way to bypass the check.

I have not tried the method (I don’t need to), so do leave some comments.

UPDATE(05/03/06): This method no longer works(Thanks, tim for the heads up!). I will post it here if I came across a new method. =)

    they have fixed this so it doesnt work now it says: this add-on is managed by your administrator. and wont let you disable it

    Thanks for the feedback, tim. I guess it’s understandable… This method has been out for so many months and it’s not surprising that it has been fixed by Windows by now.

    I have been able to disable the add on-editing the value in the registry but when i go back to the windows update site it reinstalls the validation tool so it obviously checks to make sure its enabled now as well.
